My two original characters from a fantasy story that I’m slowly working on over time. Sometimes I worry that life will keep getting in the way and I won’t ever get a chance to finish that story. But hopefully, even by just improving in art over time will slowly get me closer to that goal.
I started playing Honkai Star Rail on launch and I think it’s a fantastic game. I think I’ll always enjoy video games, but as I’ve gotten older it’s been progressively more difficult to sit down and make time to complete them. But the format of a turn based RPG that can be grinded on auto-play definitely makes that endeavor a lot easier.
Probably one of my more favorite pieces I’ve completed about Epic Seven. When I posted this on social media, people believed it was an older version of him when I didn’t intend it to be. I suppose it’s my own art style that made him look older than he is.
Fan art for my two favorite characters Remnant Violet and Commander Pavel from Epic Seven.
The side story these two are in is one of the best and I wish the writers would implement more darker, grim stories in the game.
Twisted Eidolon Kayron fanart from the video game Epic Seven. I like his animation and playstyle in the game a lot. It’s too bad he’s very difficult to use.
Ultimately I wanted to practice incorporating more backgrounds into my work and hopefully I succeeded somewhat here.
My original character Ellis.
Every artist has that one character they always draw repeatedly as almost a sort of avatar in their works. Here’s mine.
He’s changed a lot since I originally created him when I was around 14 years old. At one point he had blue hair and blue eyes and a scythe! Over time he slowly became more realistic - perhaps reflecting the mindset of his creator.
My original character Kazimir doing… something nefarious.
This image is years old but I think it still remains one of my favorites, and was one of my earliest attempts of trying to make art that told a story.
Fan art of the character Top Model Luluca from the video game Epic Seven. Originally part of a Valentine’s Day themed piece I posted on my Instagram.
My original characters Layla and Kazimir enjoying a night together.
I always try to get them drawn together for New Years. Repeating a drawing theme has always been a fun way for me to track my art progress over time.
My original characters Ellis and Alan enjoying Christmas together.
This is from December 2022. That year was particularly difficult since I was finishing my Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics. I took off a lot of time from drawing and this was my return to art after a long hiatus. Came out decently well despite lack of practice.
Fan art of the character Davi from the game Destiny Child.
I love the art from Hyung-Tae Kim so of course I’d play a video game featuring his art. At this point in 2024 the game has ended service, but fortunately he seems to have found a more marketable franchise to focus on (Nikke).
Fan art of the character Ruele from the video game Epic Seven.
A really old favorite of mine that became quite dated as I slowly improved at art. I ended up retouching it but decided to also upload the original version here as well.
Gift for my friend Valera. I try to draw something for them every year. Happy birthday dear friend.
Eternal Wanderer Ludwig from the game Epic Seven. His RGB counterpart I drew years ago as well.
Commander Pavel fan art from the video game Epic Seven. Still my favorite character released to this day.
Original art of my character Ellis.
This image is four years old at this point - I forgot when I decided to change his hair to black and eyes to brown but this is closer to his original image (blue hair and blue eyes).
Fan art of the character Alhaitham from the game Genshin Impact.
This game is popular and I do love the character designs but I could never get into it.
My original character Ellis in fabulous nursing scrubs.
There’s a story I’m working on involving him, and I don’t think I want him in the same scrub and stethoscope outfit as I used to wear. Perhaps blue?
Fan art of the character Watcher Schuri from the video game Epic Seven. One of the earliest characters I’ve drawn.
